Bonds' Maturity

The Government treasury securities were issued according to the Republic of Armenia Government `s decision N 381 dated 13.04.2017. Government T-bills, medium-term and long-term coupon bonds are allocated through the direct sale by Treasury Direct in the amount of up to ten percent of each allocation volume. When purchasing medium-term and long-term coupon bonds, investors receive their income within a defined period of time through coupons at semi-annual intervals, and when purchasing T-bills, at the end of the defined period.

Savings coupon bonds are sold only through the Treasury Direct, in the form of free sale, during the period determined by the order of Minister of Finance of the RA and are sold exclusively to individuals. These bonds can be issued with maturities ranging from 3 months to 25 years and sold at face value or at a premium to face value. When purchasing savings coupon bonds, investors receive their income through coupons at quarterly, semi-annual or annual intervals.

Saving coupon bonds are not subject to collateralization, donation, purchase or sales, but on buyback days investors have opportunity to return the bonds to the issuer and receive the whole income calculated before the day of buyback
